WHAT IS A "HARDWOOD DERBY"?
A Hardwood Derby is a racing event for unpowered, unmanned miniature cars, propelled only by gravity and your craftsmanship.

Build your own derby car from the provided kit containing a block of pinewood, plastic wheels, and metal axles.
​
All money raised from Hardwood Derby kits will be donated to The Boyscouts of America and the Boys and Girls Club in Wadesboro, North Carolina.
